Che -Guevara Posted September 27, 2011 Do you have Iranian source?
Carafaat Posted September 27, 2011 Lool@ Iranian sources. Like Iran would ever write that more then 30 countries walked out on their President. Probably they will say the speech was wel received in the UN.
Che -Guevara Posted September 27, 2011 Hmmmm...So Press TV which writes almost daily articles about Somalia will not write why Iranian humanitarian mission (one of the biggest in Somalia) pulled out of Somalia, interesting.
Carafaat Posted September 27, 2011 Dont know about that though. But for sure they wont write on Somalia's walkout or backstap in the UN.
Che -Guevara Posted September 27, 2011 But surely they will write about the reasons behind their pull out-an expensive one considering the nation-wide effort Iranian Government and Red Crescent undertook to raise funds for Somalia. Things happen for reason. It's illogical to pull out of Somalia and not mention the reason behind and more importantly report.
Carafaat Posted September 27, 2011 We will see how the news unfolds itself the coming days. Adigu baryahan ma Lawyerkii TFG'da ayaa noqotay?
Che -Guevara Posted September 27, 2011 ^No, it's just hard to take Somali website seriously. Here's another version of the same story http://www.jowhar.com/?p=2349 Those already inclined to disliking particular person for what ever reason will believe any story supporting their point of view hence why foriegn source of news might be more credible. Besides, it's already assumed the man is friend of Israel...lool
Carafaat Posted September 27, 2011 Anigu waxba kama qaato somali sites. Only AP. ANP, CNN, BBC. According to those sources Somalia backstapped our friends Iran.
nuune Posted September 27, 2011 ^^ The CNN, BBC and the others you mentioned is the ugly face of today's media, it was the BBC who faked the Green Square celebration and stole pictures of Indian celebrating in Delhi after their activist was released, it was and still CNN that fakes and tells people that Sabha is completely liberated from Gaddafi Loyalist, while in fact Sabha is in the hands of Gaddafi Loyalists. Aljazeera was the network that also showed LIVE pictures of Tripoli green square, while they staged a fake green square in Doha, all videos are available to see. Marka, for you to mention CNN, BBC is as ridiculous as saying their is a bird that is driving a vehicle from Washington to New York. Ps: The Somali Diplomats who walked out from there did not give a credible evidence whether they walkout or not, and for those accusing the Somali diplomats aren't providing any video evidence. NGONGE Posted September 27, 2011 ^^ So EVERYBODY is lying and we should not believe anyone unless the source is confirmed by three awliyo? ---------------------------------- TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iranian deputy foreign minister said sending relief aid to Somalia would be stepped up if the country reopens its embassy in the African country. "The Islamic Republic of Iran's nation and government have dispatched aid consignments to Somali people and would provide aid to Kenya and Djibouti people suffering grave draught as well," said Hossein Amir-Abdollahian who is in charge of Iranian Foreign Ministry for Arab and African countries. "We are among the countries who first called for holding an urgent Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meeting to help people in Somalia and African Horn and Iranian Foreign Minister visited Mogadishu to help people in the country." "Iran is continuing diplomatic measures and will step up the process of sending aid to the country after reopening the embassy," the official added. He reiterated that Iran hails a four-sided committee between Iran, Somalia, Kenya and Governments of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) in Tehran. Starvation claimed the lives of over 66 women and children in the famine-stricken Gedo region, located in the southern Somali town of Garbaharey. Physicians have called for urgent help for over 2,500 Somalis being treated in the region's health centers. According to local aid workers, thousands of families face dire living conditions in Gedo where daily clashes between al-Shabab fighters and Somalia's government forces have blocked access to water, food, and medicine. The famine and violence have reportedly forced hundreds of civilians to leave the region for refugee camps in Kenya. The drought and famine have affected more than 11.8 million people across Somalia, Kenya and Ethiopia. Somalia has been hardest-hit by what is described as the worst drought in the Horn of Africa in 60 years. According to the United Nations, it is estimated that a quarter of Somalia's population of 9.9 million are now either internally displaced or living outside the country as refugees. The UN has declared famine in six regions in southern Somalia, warning that the natural disaster would spread to all eight regions of the country's south. Despite an increase in international relief aid for Somalia, hundreds of people, half of them children, are losing their lives on a daily basis, according to the UN. Somalia has been without a functioning government since 1991, when warlords overthrew the country's former dictator Mohamed Siad Barre. http://www.isna.ir/ISNA/NewsView.aspx?ID=News-1855765&Lang=E
