asalamualeikum warahmatulahi wabarakatuhu all bros and sisters.

 

in the campus, the monster is eating-up our deeply held islamic values. the monster, in the name of socialisation and freedom, are really at peak, delivering our innocent muslim sisters in the hands of the ruthless non-muslims. subhanaLLAH.

am really caught up in an ambigous dilema. the way forward is unclear. if you attempt to talk the ladies in camera, they see you as an enemy, or even abuse you. and you know what, 'i know why i am here' is their word of defence.

the campus system is based on secular idealogies, which is indifferent to the sensitivity of morality and ethics in life.hence, no authority to report to.

their dressing mode, is really pathetic. tight fitting jeans, a t-shirt, a buibui, and many more.,

definately its not the whole of them,,,but some.

the condition is really unbearable, and parents dont think about sending their daughters to higher education institutes like the university, but the question remains, who is to blame?

any time tested solution to such problem is highly in need.

girls in the campus a suffering, while enjoying the sugar coated western culture.

may ALLAH guide our muslim sisters and boys in the university life.

Campus or campus la aan qof kasta siduu iska dhiguu noqon and I don,t think in gabdhaha dagan university campus xun yihiin. i used to live there, pray five times a day and behave.Plus what about the boys, mise iyaga danbigooda lama qoro?

I agree with you Ismahan

There was two types in my campus time.

 

1: xalimo edeb wanaagsan oo guri fiican ka timi si asturan u lebisata oo dhaqanka iyo diinta ilaalisa, iskuulka ku fiican macalimiintuna jecelyihin.

2: xaliimo saaqidad ah oo sigaarka cabta edebta iyo akhlaaqda la soo barin, qeylo badan, habeenki suuqa waregta + always delayed in the classroom.

 

the strange thing about it was, we guys liked the bad xalimooz

but it turned out later that the good sistah was much better in every way

I don't think anyone should worry about their 18 years old daughter if they instilled in her good values and taught her diin!!..I honestly don't think I matured much from when I was 18 ..that is to say sida hada ahay baan aha oo waan kala garanyay wixi sax ah iyo wixi qaladka ah...

and 18 is the age that ppl in teh west chose, in Islam you have to be mature by 15...khalaas!

 

ninki gabadhii uu dhalay akhlaaqxuma uga cabsanaya at 18 waxaan filaya si wacan umu soo korin ...and that its too damn late to worry about her.

 

And, girls dress in the west a certain way. That is not limited to just university campus. You either accept it or move to a muslim country...kolay adiga ta kula dhalatay iyo ta dhashay uun ba masuuliyad ka sarantahay..raise them well. Advice them and then put your trust in Allah swt...

 

with that been said, we should also focus on our brothers and those of you who have sons your sons...waxa moda gabdhaha in aad loga walwalo oo wilasha somaliyad iska ilaaween oo yago melaha jooga wada akhlaaqxun oo dibjir ah..

Somali families who are concerned can send a male family member and be with her at uni, Have seen many Saudis here who are for higher education, and all of them have a family male member with them.

This advice reminds me of the story of Sufiah Yusof, who had to run away from Oxford where as a student she was accompanied by her ultra-religious father. She turned a prostitute later in effect. She was still a child when she attended the university and an adult companion had to be there, of course, but it might well illustrate how ultra-religious parenthood can ruin things in that respect.

Runtaa!!!Now they say you infidel...that's all they know.These people amaze me; all of a sudden there is saudisation of somalis going on.

The way we were is better.Let people enjoy their freedom.No one's business how someone else is doing;

Indeed, all this obsession with the trivialities of life is really unbecoming. It's said that Siad Barre was once asked what his favourite song was and he replied "dadkaaga dhinac ka raac, yaanad dhumine dhinac ka raac..." I can't help but think the man had a point.
