Helping the famine victims as well as building hospitals and schools and contributing to key infrastructures in order to revive the Gulf-Trade and the fishery and farming sectors of Somalia would sustain our nation in the long run. Ismahaan Posted August 23, 2011 Great news.Saudis also donates 50 million US dollar to help Somalia. Now the question is: will these donations reach needy individuals or Somalia’s famine victims? I have witnessed the food aid intended for starving Somali children and women stolen. The only way you can be sure that money you donate will reach starving people is to go there yourself and hand it out personally.
