Somaliland: Dahabshiil Money transfer Donates $100,000 to Somali Drought.

HARGEISA (SomalilandPress)– Dahabshiil Money transfer one of the top money transfer service in East Africa has directly donated $100,000 to the Somali drought relief according to the President of the company Mr. Mohamed Said Duale. Speaking to the press at his office Mr. Duale said that this immediate $100,000 dollars donation is just the beginning and that more funds is to follow from both the company and its employees.

 

Mr. Duale went on to say it is the responsibility of all Somalis and none Somalis to immediately help with the worst drought that the Somali people have seen in recent times. In addition to this $100,000 that the company has made it available immediately to relief rescue the company is also going to be given 1% discount for all transaction during the holy month of Ramadan.

 

Dahabshiil money transfer is known for its charity work in all the countries that it operates from; Dahabshiil’s is also known to donate 5% of its annual profit to development, education and health care projects that support local communities.
