And that your merchants, your clan elders are now in Garowe begging, on their knees to Faroole to help and rescue the ship and its cargo....

You have no Navy and are not known to be adequate swimmers. Your bravado and fake notion of Konfurians in South and so on has come to this. I know its difficult but Puntland has a long history of fighting piracy, have many adequate swimmers and sailors after a long coastline and generations of seamanship is an advantage.

Anyhow stop being so afraid, just like the Zaylac incident your weaknesses are telling. To the delegation, welcomes to Unionist Somalia, it’s a bit different than Secessionist Somalia. Its allot more confident in being a Somali.

SL Coast guards (not the Navy) patrol their own waters. Not international waters (or even Omani waters).

 

Your happiness at getting one over on SL is evident but your misplaced clan pride and the condoning of acts of crimes whilst these crimes are being carried out by your own clansmen is something that even a 5 year old would be 'too proud' to demonstrate. Waar isla yaab.

 

PL has been SL's 'spoiler' (does it have any other purpose horta?) but they now have a chance to show they are not dependent on what SL does and has a chance to save face as well as get much needed good PR. Will they take advantage of a bad situation? I doubt it knowing Faroole.
