All the drilling and the Dharoor block itself is located EAST of the highway, reer Maakhir live WEST of the highway if you remember. Drilling is taking place first in Iskushuban and second in Garowe [possibly in Ufeyn as an alternative], all of which are in Eastern and Central Bari or Nugaal. Taleexi, Puntland got the full permission of reer Ufeyn and reer Iskushuban, the two main sites of drilling in the Dharoor valley, which is not located in or near Maakhir sub-region. Last time, it was not reer Ufeyn but it was reer Iskushuban (Cadde Muuse's people) who chased away drilling teams due to an internal dispute. For the past year and a half, Faroole has worked very closely with the community of Iskushuban to take care of security and personal issues. Everything is in neat order.

Here again the Ausi investor still betting on his high profile risk investment in a conflict prone region! I am sure the time value of your money is stretched beyond its expected yield maturity and now you're probably thinking of how to fire sale those share interests you have in these shady small-caps companies.

Let me say this , for you seem to be lost in this web of deceit and exploitation. This conflict in Western Bari region has many dimensions and it's complex in that there are competing clan interests and territorial rows as contributing factors.

The way the UN and the responsible world deals with these northern regions like Puntland is tantamount to the half-way house process, which are supported solely for reconstituting and restoring a collapsed Society. However when self-styled rulers of some domain sign up illegal contracts with foreign companies driven by greed and quick return on their investment, we know the main objective is to head to new frontiers with features like imperfect markets and the absence of sovereign government or viable institutions.

 

So please do ask for a fair and balanced info. I don't think you have fully grasped the positions of the two sides and what conditions are they putting on the table.
