For some reason your story reminds me of my neighbour who used to always turn up at our house at afur time, he's want sugar, milk, to use the microwave.. etc. We soon discovered that the kid was hooked on sambuuse.. lool.

Much of the beauty of the Somali language lies in its diversity. I love learning new words not used in my region, and i'd love to learn the unuka dialect, along with af-may may. I've also heard that in some parts of Bari they speak an almost unintelligble dialect. Can someone confirm this?
