NASSIR Posted June 17, 2011 At the end of the meeting the participants made the following appeal. 1. Participants congratulate for the awakening Somalis who unanimously protested against Kampala accord. We commend your sacrifice and encourage you to continue this unprecedented revival of nationalism spirit. 2. Participants expressed unreserved support for the PM Farmajo and encouraged him/his cabinet to continue to serve for the nation and complete the remaining transitional task. 3. We call the international community to support Somalis and avoid unjustified meddling. 4. UN is supposed to facilitate for Somalis to resolve their problems and remain neutral, non interfering force. Unfortunately Ambassador Augustine Mahiga tragically breached neutrality and like his predecessor acted out of UN principles and Somali national interest for this reason, we call the immediate resignation of Ambassador Mahiga. 5. TFG parliament should side with the aspiration of Somali people who unanimously support to extend term for the current Prime minister and his cabinet. 6. The parliament must initiate impeachment actions against the two Sharif. Thank you This statement is endorsed by over 50 persons that participated in the meeting on 14th June 2011 in Galkayo Link
