The story of a young female Somali on her journey to find love and the obstacles she has to over come to not only prove her family, her friends, but most importantly herself wrong, in her quest to eradicate the prejudices and negativity that comes with marrying outside of her Somali culture. I've read chapter One so far. I like the topic of inter-racial marriages. Can't say the writing is as good as the blogger from ''Diary of A Xalimo'', but I'm drawn to this topic.
