Everyday we on SOL and as somalis in general get caught up in the comedy of the day, with out an overarching awareness that there are 550 xoolo who individually and in comity causing and prepetuating the greatest crime against the somali people and nationhood for the past 6 - 7 years. What ever happened to the UN plan for a leaner slimmer parliament of a maximum of 180 members with atleast a bachelors degree or equivalent appointed not by warlords but by elders and civil society? Perhaps with such a parliament would a Farmajoo or other technocrat be elected president! P.S Most probably if Farmajoo was to insist on elections in August he would get the support of parliament, simply because the parliamentarians are banking on that payday....
