Chimera Posted May 25, 2011 I've been working on a illustration, similar to the image below only of 60s/70s/80s Somali Icons like Hassan Adan, Magool, Khadija Qalanjo, Mooge, Qarshe etc and Saado in front of the yellow National Theatre, but I can't find a single image of a young Saado, very frustrating. Ibtisam Posted May 26, 2011 Adam there are videos of her on tube, some quite clear from when she was young- you can capture a still image from it- or get someone to do it for you. The award is for her art, not a political views, no one can deny that she is talented and she has been in the industry for so long. Good for her. Every time I see Saado the song "meel libaax soo galay lo' majoogeysee" comes to mind...I did truly witnessed it at a wedding where Saado was a surprise guest, not too long ago...It just so happened a lady who sang/did a jawaab song to one of Saado's controversial songs about SL was also a guest at the wedding...Long story short, naagta wexey rabtay iney is waasho...Sida meesha looga saaray, for a quick second I thought meesha iney AlShabaab soo galeen...It was a "WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, HOW!" moment...
