caydarus Posted May 12, 2011 "Three people have been killed following heavy fighting" between forces of the Transitional Federal Government of Somalia and Al-Shabab militant group in southern border town of Doblai, reports privately-owned Radio Shabeelle website. The fighting begun after Al-Shabab militant group "attacked Da'as locality" in the outskirts of Doblai town. The two sides are reported to have "exchanged the various types of weapons", adds the source. The spokesman of Raas Kaambooni Islamist group, which a pro-government militia group operates in Lower Jubba Region.
