Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Jiang Yu said in Beijing on Thursday that a senior Chinese official will attend the inaugural ceremony of Djibouti's president Ismail Omar Guelleh as the special envoy of President Hu Jintao.

 

According to Jiang, Minister of Civil Affairs Li Liguo will attend the ceremony on May 8 representing President Hu at the invitation of the Djibouti side.
