Somalia: Puntland's Experience in Peace-building and State-building: Faroole's remarks in Nairobi

^^^14 out of 20 are your clan adeer. The President is from your clan adeer, thus why you are so happy about the secession, you would probably get 70% of everything, XX for Ambasador to Israel, right.

Duke the president can be from any region we proved that before even the vp can be from any region and the Ministers are spread from every region of Somaliland if one particular clan lives from Awdal all the way to sanaag ofcourse they will get a lion share but the Minister Positions are spread from every region and obviously the two heavily populated regions are Maroodijeex and togdheer Followed by awdal and then gabiley. We are not like Puntland which is a subclan project run by the ssdf, serves the ssdf interest only. The ssdf Parliament makes it impossible for your other clan cousins to become president of the garowe one subclan state. Heck we are even better then our neighbour Djibouti which only allows Ismacil cumar geeles sub clan to run for president.

Duke Somaliland regions get their Fair share in the cabinet

Awdal region 3 Ministers

Maroodijeex 5 Ministers

Togdheer 4 Ministers

Saaxil 2 Ministers

Sool 2 Ministers

Sanaag 2 Ministers

Hawd region 1 Minister

Gabiley region 1 Minister

Increase Awdal and Sanaag numbers I say with the expense of Maroodijeex - IMO

Any? So why did the opposition consist of SNM? It was impossible for someone from Sool or Sanaag to be president because they didnt even run. So you are wrong when you say "any" region.

PL with all its pitfalls and shortcomings has been a bacon hope for Somalia in regards to building blocks. All that needs to be said is that PL has to see its stability and security through the prism of having strong TFG and make essential by supporting Somalia having a viable state.

Ninkaad kaba ka tolanaysid kabihiisaa la eega! why oppose to 4.5 system in TFG, while Puntland is built on CLAN systems? Start reforming Puntland first! or is it listen what I say, but not what I do...

This is hypercritical, and stup!d

No, Puntland is not based on unfair clan system. There is no 4.5 in Puntland. That is not to say Puntland does not need major political reform. Puntland needs to make the transition from clan delegation forming its parliament, to elections where people elect thier reps just like the SL region did.

Xiin, Could you explain to us how Puntland Parliament members are chosen? and how it is different from TFG? Are all the clans in Puntland have members in Parliament? are the seated allocated fairly?

PL formula of power sharing is not better than the TFG's but it just controls more territory than our government does.

They even got the good dabshid upset, freaking pirates!

They are preaching the TFG what their mini-state doesn't practice. Faroole is against the clan system of the TFG. :D :D
