A store clerk at AMAL Convenience Store was arrested Wednesday after authorities said they found roughly 2« pounds of suspected synthetic marijuana in her possession. On Tuesday night, Rochester authorities arrested a man after he injured a 17-year-old with a retractable knife at a residence on the 500 block of 5th Ave. Southeast. 21-year-old Bakil Nuh Dahir was arrested for 2nd-degree assault just after 7 p.m. Tuesday. According to an Oct. 20 criminal complaint filed in Waseca County court, Liban Farah Barre, 28, asked a woman who was on a walk in the early hours of Oct. 16 if she’d take money for sex. When she said no, Barre reportedly pulled out a knife, pressed it to her ribs and said he’d stab her if she made any noise. Barre then brought her behind a Dumpster where he allegedly raped her.
