Qaddaafi is Said Barre on steriods. Luckily for the Libyan people, they have enough oil to make every man and women millionairs many times over.

I agree.

Said Barre knew when he was beaten, Qaddaafi will stay there till he kills every last one.

On the threads comments; when are you all gonna grow up, its 2011 weli waxad mareysan my clan fought better than yours. I wonder when wax kale oo lagu faan la heely instead of war and number of death caused?

SSDFF, SNM, SSEU, SFFO, SRWUC all did what they thought was right at their time for their people (clan- they were all clan based). Its done and dusted and none of those groups exist hada, let it go. If you waste your whole life defending the past you wont have time to plan or influence the future.

As far as death and destruction are concerned, Somalia's ousted regime has done more than Gaddafi did so far. The key word is "so far" because Libya is still in tact. Let us wait and see what happens in the next few weeks.

It is a deja vu all over again!

- A brutal dictator oppresses his own people made up of many different clans

- People rise up against the dictator "by any means necessary"

- Dictator refuses to give up power and vows to "die here"

- Dictator's clan and loyalists rally behind him fearing for their own existence

- Government system slowly breaks down in the process

- Dictator is eventually chased out of the capital after much death and destruction

- Vicious power struggle breaks out among the clans vying for the top price

- Dictator eventually destroys country for not giving up power peacefully and earlier.

SSDF afkiina ka daaya ilmayahow. :D

But, seriously there is no comparison. MSB, wuxuu ahaa ba, dad badan buu ka wanaagsan yahay. I am not surprised Suldaanka would insincerely manufacture stuff to serve his agenda, time and again.

do u know what happened in Hargeisa in 1982 during a peaceful demonstrations ???????????????? ,,,,

No one can deny that but why are similar things happening in Kalshaale and elsewhere in 2011? Are we here to condemn some actions while justifying similar ones?
