Suldaanka Posted February 23, 2011 Instead of packing his belongings and leaving the country peacefully, Qaddafi unleashed a deadly clanish war pitting the local clans and tribes against one another, a remake of Siyad Barre's bad judgements of 1988. Gaddafi loses more Libyan cities Video:
Somalina Posted February 23, 2011 Comparing MSB AUN to Gaddafi is laughable. Siilanyo is another Gaddafi in the making if anything.

Peace Action Posted February 23, 2011 Qaddaafi is Said Barre on steriods. Luckily for the Libyan people, they have enough oil to make every man and women millionairs many times over.

Jacpher Posted February 23, 2011 I ain't no Afweyne or Qadafi fan but to suggest Qadafi is Siyaad Barre in the making is to imply the uprise in Libya is that of SNM in 1988. Unlike the Libyan people struggle against Qadafi, SNM was a marginal clan-based rebel movement aided militarily and politically influenced by a neighboring country. Do you understand what's happening in Libya that way or you just see SNM everywhere? Show waxaad mooday in SNM malaa'ig noqon should you go around comparing them to world current affairs? Shalay waxaa leheedeen SNM inspired Tunia iyo Egyptian revolution. Doraadtona the independence of Kosovo iyo Southern Sudan? What's next. Bahrain? Palestine? or better yet SNM inspires Nasa to launch Mars? Thanks to SNM, people can embark life on Mars.

Thankful Posted February 24, 2011 The SSDF are the ones that started it all before any single other group even tried! Plus the SSDF weren't make up of a major "family" but a sub-one. Now was it right or wrong, that is another debate.....but the SNM purposely hid among civilians despite being warned to stay in the mountains! The bombing was a war crime and so is using civilians as shields!
