Che -Guevara Posted February 3, 2011 You know in the strict sense, one is more democratic but on different level, one is actual country, the other is just secessionist province.
Thankful Posted February 3, 2011 Lol, what's the difference all the leaders from NW Somalia come from North Eastern part of the enclave. How's it possible not a single from Sool or Sanaag made it to president or even vice-president. 75% come from the enclave are from the same family! It seems more like a monarchy. Thankful Posted February 3, 2011 But your 4 come from a very small portion of your entire alleged enclave. Your leaders represent a small segment of the land you claim as your borders. How is it possible that one group has become president the majority of the time and the biggest area's have been excluded? Dictator or 1 group rule = little difference

Thankful Posted February 3, 2011 Lol, of course you don't see it that way and use the clan card! I personally hope that Puntland adopts a rule that forbids people from certain regions that have already had a president come from their area from being allowed to run again for president until others have been allowed. Everyone must have the oppurtunity to lead! Hopefully next elections will see this!

Thankful Posted February 3, 2011 Lol, let him continue, it’s good to be proud of one’s history - especially considering he at the top of the hegemony. The pride is obviously not found in the armed opposition groups! Anywho, the first two leaders can't be considered democratic appointments or transitions since Abdirahman Ahmed Ali Tuur {AUN}, courageously rejected the secessionist’s agenda and wanted to reconcile with the rest of the nation! Egal {AUN} was in power for almost 10 years and had passed away while in office.
