NGONGE Posted January 31, 2011 In 2009 the cities of Mecca and Jeddah both suffered from crazy floods that resulted in the loss of countless lives and properties. At the time, the King promised to investigate things and ordered his ministers to do all they can to ensure that nothing of the kind should ever happen again. The people blamed it on the lack of appropriate sewer systems and decent town planning. They accused those in charge of pilfering government proceeds instead of using them to improve the town and cities. The king (and his minions) were adamant that all such transgressions shall be investigated and stopped (he even gave a million riyals each to all the families that suffered from that tragedy). Last week, it rained again in Jeddah.

Queer sense of prespective, eh? (Torres is not going anywhere).
