isqarxis Posted January 18, 2011 Being from Somaliland is the best thing that i could have ever, ever happened to me. I cannot see it in any other way. All of my fundamental principles that were instilled in me in my home, from my childhood, are still with me. And now, when I look at the system here and look at my position and when I look around at the values of the people and the culture and compare them with the values of where I came from--I feel so blessed to be from Somaliland. Malika Posted January 18, 2011 Lol@Sayid I actually have a slight understanding of where the young man is coming from - I remember the first time watching niiko dance and being horrified - my "Somaliland" upbringing had everything to do with it. BOB dont you bite my head too!
