Alpha Blondy Posted March 14, 2011 adam, the ex-early noughties former boy band member now listens to Rage against the machine! I guess as the English say ''pigs may fly" vans, I love that song. Have you heard ''black ballons'', the lyrics are subliminal. its about suicide!
Complete Posted March 14, 2011 Yuppers. Black Balloon is one of my favorite singles by them. A Boy Named Goo, Dizzy Up The Girl and Gutterflower are great albums I not only enjoy but have the pleasure to own. I have all their songs on repeat sometimes. Their music has a lot of content and meaning reason why I listen to'em. Was a big fan since the mid 90s and they're making a slow come back. Go Goo Goo Dolls!
Alpha Blondy Posted March 20, 2011 playin' the best of acid jazz! Sweet anticipation at the mention of your name A feeling that I can’t describe When you stole into the corner of my heart you lit a flame And there’s something in me I can’t hide I am dreaming of the joy you brought to me, yeah Ooh, and I believe That you are my destiny Sweet as fantasy Love will keep us together – nothing else could tear us apart And I will never leave you – I’ll always keep you with my heart Every move you make and all the things you say and do May make the right connections in my mind Got a little piece of heaven and it’s all wrapped up for you I am so glad that you’re mine Ooh, I’m still dreaming of the joy you bring me Ooh, and I believe That you are my destiny Sweet as fantasy Love will keep us together – nothing else could tear us apart And I will never leave you – I’ll always keep you with my heart I will be in your heart – you will be in mine We’ll be together – ‘til the end of time Really love this song, reminds me with a lot of love I’ve ever received. Missing those times. I wish I could go back to those times… Yeah… I wish I could.

Alpha Blondy Posted March 29, 2011 For the eastern eyes of a life reborn When the western skies of a broken dawn In the first embrace of a haunted smile With the hopeful eyes of an alien child I was taken by the hand from the ocean to the sand From the half-light to the day I have come to find my way I have come to find my way In the burning sheets of a neighbour's pain With the sweat of a night and the summer rain In the cry of birth and the death of fear For the hope of a light and the joy of tears I was taken by the hand from the ocean to the sand From the half-light to the day I have come to find my way I have come to find my way From the tainted screen of a surgeon mind From the tear-stained face of a haunted kind From the shade of death and the flame of life From the ??est blade of a surgeon's knife I was taken by the hand from the ocean to the sand From the half-light to the day I have come to find my way I have come to find my way Eastern, eastern eyes... your eyes For these eastern, eastern, eastern, eastern eyes For these eastern, eastern eyes For these eastern eyes Eastern eyes (3x) Eastern, eastern, eastern eyes (2x) Eastern, eastern eyes

If I Never to leave here If I Always alone If I Oceans rise Rivers rise People rise With the sun Oceans rise Rivers rise People rise With the sun
Alpha Blondy Posted March 29, 2011 Little darlin' don't you see the sun is shining just for you, only today If you hurry you can get a ray on you, come with me, just to play Like every humming bird and bumblebee Every sunflower, cloud and every tree I feel so much a part of this Nature's got me high and it's beautiful I'm with this deep eternal universe From death until rebirth This corner of the earth is like me in many ways I can sit for hours here and watch the emerald feathers play On the face of this I'm blessed When the sunlight comes for free I know this corner of the earth it smiles at me So inspired of that there's nothing left to do or say Think I'll dream, 'til the stars shine The wind it whispers and the clouds don't seem to care And I know inside, that it's all mine It's the chorus of the breakin' dawn The mist that comes before the sun is born To a hazy afternoon in May Nature's got me high and it's so beautiful I'm with this deep eternal universe from death until rebirth [chorus] You know that this corner of the earth is like me in many ways I can sit for hours here and watch the emerald feathers play On the face of it I'm blessed When the sunlight comes for free I know this corner of the earth it smiles at me x5 This corner of the earth, is like me in many ways I can sit for hours here and watch the emerald feathers play When the sunlight comes for free I know the corner of this earth it smiles at me

Complete Posted April 2, 2011 Amen to all of that. I have mixed emotions about this song. I'm shocked and glad all at the same time. Shocked he had the balls to say half of the things he said and glad that he found the courage in spilling'em out. This is the definition of a real emcee. It's so loud inside my head with words that I should have said As I drown in my regrets I can't take back the words I never said I really think the war on terror is a bunch of bullshit Just a poor excuse for you to use up all your bullets How much money does it take to really make a full clip 9/11 building seven did they really pull it? And a bunch of other cover ups Your child's future was the first to go with budget cuts If you think that hurts, then wait here comes the uppercut The school was garbage in the first place that's on the up and up Keep you at the bottom but tease you with the upper crust You get it then they move it so you never keepin up enough If you turn on TV, all you see's a bunch of what the ****s Dude is dating so and so, blabbering about such and such And that ain't Jersey Shore, homie that's the news and these the same people supposedly telling us the truth Limbaugh was a racist, Glen Beck is a racist, Ghaza strip was gettin bombed but Obama didn't say shit That's why I ain't vote for him, next one either I'm a part of the problem, my problem is I'm peaceful And I believe in the people! Yeah! It's so loud inside my head with words that I should've said As I drown in my regrets I can't take back the words I never said Now we can say it ain't our fault If we never heard it but if we know better, then we probably deserve it Jihad is not holy war, where's that in the worship?! Murdering is not Islam and you are not observant And you are not a Muslim Israel don't take my side cuz look how far you've pushed em Walk with me into the ghetto, this is where all the kush went Complain about the liquor store, well whatchu drinkin liquor for? Complain about the gloom but when'd you pick a broom up? Just listenin to Pac ain't gonna make it stop A rebel in your thoughts ain't gonna make it whole If you don't become an actor, you'll never be a factor. Pills with a million side effects, take em when the pain's felt Wash em down with Diet soda, killin off your brain cells Crooked banks around the world will gladly give a loan today so If you ever miss a payment, they can take your home away. It's so loud inside my head with words that I should've said As I drown in my regrets I can't take back the words I never said I think that all the silence is worse than all violence Fear is such a weak emotion, that's why I despise it We're scared of almost everything, afraid to even tell the truth So scared of what you think of me, I'm scared of even telling you Sometimes I'm like the only person I feel safe to tell it to I'm locked inside a cell in me, I know that there's a jail in you Consider this your bailing out, so take a breath inhale a few My screams is finally gettin free, my thoughts is finally yellin through! It's so loud inside my head with words that I should've sad As I drown in my regrets I can't take back the words I never said
