Puntland Politics Is it A Nasty Game? Or Just Tough Politics?

I find it hard to believe that we are the only region in somalia where politicians are killed. Why do we have these assasinations always arising when their is differences inside ur politics?

 

For example, its strange but true the ordinary citizens who live in puntland noone touches them and they are safe and have no problems...Even business-men/clan elders/religious leaders are usually safe however our politicians all have like 10 bodyguards each and even some ministers have bulletproof landcrusiers, why so? the only logical reason is they are fearing to be assasinated no other logical purpose.

 

I have come to learn that Politics in puntland can become a bloody game and I am thinking about if its better for me to just start up a business in Bossaso and live comfortable life away from deadly game of politics or should I brave it out and keep working towards becoming A Puntland President in the future? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Once you enter the political environment of punt-land you bet your life and put yourself at the mercy of your opponent.
