Saalax Posted January 4, 2011 SSC Terror Boss Stranded in Dubai Saleban Esse Ahmed, the leader of the infamous Al-Shabab-linked terrorist group known by its Somali Acronym, SSC, could not believe his luck at being given a platform by the BBC Somali radio service last week to spew out his hate and talk to his fellow terrorists back home. Nothing is more sickening than to hear the voice of the most wanted fugitive terrorist in Puntland and Somaliland whose hands are dripping with the blood of so many innocent people talking on the BBC Somali radio, hollering from somewhere in the Arabian desert heaven of Dubai to say to his fellow terrorists, “I am alive and kicking guys. It is business as usual and I am going to meet SSC supporters here in Dubai”. The terror chief even vowed that no one would stop him to go to the US because “I am a US-born citizen,” he said. Taleex Media reports confirmed earlier that the terror chief was refused to board US-bound planes because his name appeared on the ‘no-fly list’ of persons suspected with involvement of terrorism. Ahmed’s case is not the only one involving U.S. citizens stranded abroad by the FBI agents and refused to board US-bound planes. A case in point is Yahye Weheliye, a US citizen born to immigrants from Somalia who left for Yemen ‘to learn Arabic and look for a bride’ before deciding to return to the US. He was stopped in Egypt by FBI agents there and refused him from boarding his connecting flight to the U.S. because his name had been put on a no-fly list. If someone like Weheliye, a US-born citizen, who simply went to Yemen “to learn Arabic” could be refused to enter the American and Canadian airspace, surely the FBI agents can stop a man like Ahmed, a naturalised citizen of the US, who is a real terrorist whose presence in the US would not be conducive to the public good. “It’s a triumph for the terrorists like xaglotoosiye [Ahmed] when they are able to command the attention of the world’s largest news broadcaster organisation like the BBC radio that serves the Somali speaking world. The more terrorism succeeds, and I believe publicity like this helps it to succeed, the more of our citizens and that of other countries they’re putting in jeopardy. This is an incentive for the SSC terrorists to continue their terror activities.” said Jama Harun who is a member of a group of Somalilanders trying to apply to the Magistrates court for a warrant of arrest against the terror chief if he arrives in England. The English law allows private individuals to seek warrants for the arrest of people they wish to prosecute for serious offences, including alleged war crimes. The BBC has gone too far and failed to realise how badly such an image would play out to their audience in Somaliland and Puntland where this terror leader carried out a relentless campaign to murder innocent civilians and assassinate government officials- mainly from his own clan family members- in a bid to destabilise the relatively peaceful and stable regions of Sool, Sanaag and Cayn, which the abbreviation of his terror group stands for, and render them virtually ungovernable. In the US, Mohammed Osman Mohamoud, a 19 year old, naturalised US citizen from Somalia and resident of Corvallis, Oregon had been arrested on charges of attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction (explosives) in connection with a plot to detonate a vehicle bomb at an annual Christmas tree lighting. However, Ahmed did not, in actual fact, kill or harm anyone. Nonetheless he was arrested after he attempted to remotely detonate what he believed to be explosives in a van that was parked near the Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Portland, the affidavit alleges. Here we have a Somali –American citizen- who is the leader of an Al-Shabab-linked terrorist group and who had actually detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) against the cars of government officials using the ring of a mobile phone. Several high ranking Somaliland government officials had been brutally murdered in this manner for the past year or so not to mention the scores of innocent civilians butchered by this terror group, SSC. If a man, like Mohamoud, who ‘attempted’ to detonate a bomb could be sent to a court of law for a possible jail sentence then surely a man who had actually detonated multiple IEDs to shed the blood of so many innocent people could be arrested for his crimes if he sets foot in the US. Moreover, Ahmed’s planned trip to the US is all about collecting money from his sympathisers and supporters to further expand his terror activities, and to help recruit young impressionable men to his cause. Needless to say, so much blood of innocent people had already been irrigated in the drylands of Sool, eastern province of Somaliland, by Ahmed and his fellow blood-curdling terrorists. He is a psychopath who takes a great deal of pride in showing the mutilated bodies of his poor victims on Somali speaking Universal TV by buying an airtime during prime time when the TV would attract the largest possible audience in a bid to set an example to residents of these provinces that anyone who fails to co-operate with his terror group would face a similar fate. During the interview with the BBC, the terror boss ludicrously boasted that he is “democrat” elected by the people of Sool, Sanaag and Cayn as a leader yet his terror group declared a bitter war against democracy and all those who seek to enact it. It is no secret that his group made every endeavour to stop the people in these provinces from voting in the last Somaliland presidential election but miserably failed to do so. In an interview with the BBC Somali radio, the former Somaliland minister of foreign affairs, Abdillahi Mohamed Duale, described the SSC leader Suleiman Esse Ahmed and his group a bunch of “terrorists”. The president of the self autonomous region of Puntland, Abdirahman Faroole, who is related by blood to the terror leader labelled the SSC as “terrorists” and Ethiopia launched a military attack on the SSC’s base in Buhoodle, sending terrorists scurrying for cover into the snake infested thorn bushes of that area. Ahmed said his group is a ‘peaceful one’ yet it resorts to mass murder, oppression, intimidation, terrorism and assassination. This kind of behaviour is reminiscent of the way in which the Mafia sends flowers to the funerals of its victims. This doubletalk goes above and beyond simple hypocrisy and lies. It is a display of an utter contempt for the intelligence and sensibilities of the Somaliland people. In conclusion, a terrorist, like Ahmed, is too sick to be accepted into civilised society. NGONGE Posted January 5, 2011 ^^ It's not fair though. The man is fighting for a cause. You may not agree with it but you should at least respect it and try to find a way round our disagreement. To accuse him of being a member of Al Shaba is an unfair lie that an uncouth Farole could come up with, not a democratic and enlightened Slander.
