MD Posted October 28, 2003 It is stated in Musnad Ahmad that the Angel of death came to Ibraheem (`alayhi salaam) to take his soul and Ibraheem (`alayhi salaam) said: "Oh Malakul maut, did you see a friend take the soul of a friend?" The Angel of death ascended to his Rabb. It was said: "Say to him, did you see a friend dislike meeting his friend?" The Angel of death returned.
