Timur Posted December 30, 2010 Nobody asked for a secessionist's thoughts on construction works or tourism infrastructure in Somalia, ironically pro-Somalia people care even less about Waqoyi which they still consider a part of Somalia. You do a very bad job of removing yourself from the apparatus of Somalia and its people and affairs.

Qandalawi Posted December 30, 2010 This looks fine lads, actually its a beautiful mediterenian design. Whenever you hear the word hotel, you look for tall or large building? huh?
Abdirazak_PTL Posted December 30, 2010 That hotel you posted is simply known as 1st of august hotel because its located in the 1st of august suburb. By the way a back-end picture of the hotel is below Puntland hotels needed to be divided up into 3 catergories. Lavish hotels need to be located in garowe because the guests in garowe will mostly be political guests either from the u.n or other somali regions and even other countries delegates where-as galkayo will require hotels suited to truck drivers who want something relatively cheap. Bosaso hotels is based more for traders who like truckers want something more localized. Examples below are of some of the hotels in Bosaso I know of Some of the Garowes hotes below Some of the Galkayo Hotels I also am aware that Jubba hotel got a face lift recently also. I am aware there is another one of those lavish style hotels being built for the traders which will house banking facilities and also hotel facilities. Tawakal Investment I would say is a bit to lavish but since its also bank and hotel combined which is obviously for convenience sakes for the traders it will properly be huge hit among the traders I think however Garowe still needs 3 more lavish hotels on top of this and that should be enough and im certain when the UN base themselves there they will need to do it. Abdirazak_PTL Posted December 31, 2010 I am not in favor of tall buildings personally when so much of our land is empty. I believe we need to first fill up the land with small to medium sized buildings and then work our way up. Because towns look crap when there is 2 or 3 tall buildings with nothing surrounding it.
