Why do they call it Somaliland/Puntland? - Why not choose names they can pronounce??

I don't understand, have you ever seen countries where its people can't even pronounce its name? Egyptians cant pronounce Egypt correctly (Ejibd) thats why they kept it with Masr/Misr.

 

All the people from Djibouti can pronounce it as Djibouti

 

But Somalilanders call it = Somaalilaan

Puntlanders call it = Bunitlaan

 

Honestly, it sounds nice in English, but in Somali its just awfull.
