Before we decide who the best player is in Africa, Have you had of a Conglease club known as TP Mazembe?, Well..

They achieved a treble not long after Congolese independence in which they won the championship, Katanga Cup and Congo Cup in 1966. TP Mazembe were African Champions in 1967 and 1968 and again in 2009 and 2010. At last year's Club World Cup, they were knocked out in the first round, after a 2-1 loss to South Korea's Poyang Steelers.

 

 

How come you don't have Gyan, Ayew etc on your lists..

Right now it will have to be Asamoah Gyan. But since you mention Drogba and others, I have to disagree and tell you that this is (arguably) the best African player of all time.

OZ....TP Mezembe waa corrupt...I've read a long article about them couple of years ago and I was astounded by the level of corruption that exists in DR Congo...their players fear the owner who has ties to the goverment and you're guaranteed to play for the national team if you play for TP...they used to come to S.A frequently while I was still there and several of their players were bought by the South African teams.
