lol NORF explaining "whites goods", Ngonge accused of planning a cool week end shopping at Asda, khat n TV.

It's a myth btw that women only gossips, some men are backbiting non-stop including pseudo sheikhs, it's common envy and insecurity or character assasinating someone "preventively".

I do call people I trust walaal and show affection, it's a tiny minority though outside cousins or family; I'm naturally easygoing but have been wounded or see ingratitude enough to focus unconditional love (with courtesy to all).

Albeit I get along with widely different people (treat them as I would expect or better), I only call friend someone I can trust fully, at least as much as my cousin; the truth is that it's very hard to get someone good hearted, religious who is also able to understand you or is intellectually similar.

C' est la vie, you make do with it, just went xalay to gym with this wadaad. Why I love him?

He envy or jealous little others and is humble; he actually invites me to Xamar with full package (it's nice even though I will pay my way myself, people often express gratitude with lies or malice).

I just can't understand how you guys get so many close friends, I wish I could :D

They don't do it as often as others do but I've come across the phrase from many people in the past. Even worse, some use it so much that an aunt would forget and refer to her nephew as walaal macan or a mother to her son, etc. Of course, and as Alpha would say, the phrase is uuuf. :D

Abu, the term qofkaas friend beynu nahay does not mean friend-xalaal ah ama lilaahi ah, more like you know qofkaas or you move in same circles, exchange the same salaams and general chitchats markaad is aragtaan oo kale etc. anigu sidaas bey ila macno tahay.

Having said that, friendku wuu iska badan yahay alhamdulilah, no need to obsess over intellectkooda, just like the company sometimes

Juxa, I understand that meaning of friends as the countless acquaintances, but was refering to close ones.

I only have few at a time and sometimes one move in different directions, distance comes into play etc.

I find other relations superficial even with few largely trusted and good people (as opposed to my younger sibling or cousins).

Even with all the love and respect I have for those few gems, it has always been exhausting to listen to or socialise with them outside specific circumstances (I'm sure some would say the same about me).

It's not that I obsess about anything, I'm actually very tolerant, but I quickly get bored if someone is not a bit well-rounded, ecclectic or know his topics and show coherent/logical thinking without hearsays, cadiifad or groupthink (a bit like those cadaans geeks).

But of course I can and do enjoy the moment if it's about sports, travel etc...that doesn't count as real friendship though (which is a bit like family, plus intellectual like-mindedness).
