SayidSomal Posted July 16, 2012 Alxamdullilaah all are well saxiib - wishing you the same. Yeah a jog is what we need - can't wait for Burgess PArk to re-open on Saturday. P.s. missed out on being chosen for the olympic torch relay - though my friend Ahmed was selected instead. He is carring it on this saturday past my house. Malika Posted July 17, 2012 Afternoon all. The place seem to have been over taken by 'empty barrels'...lol, so much noise little essence.
NGONGE Posted July 17, 2012 ^^ That's "young" people for you.
Malika Posted July 17, 2012 ^Lol - with dangerous minds might I add. Attended an interesting training today - left me wondering, what most professionals that were there had gone back with to their work places/families.
N.O.R.F Posted July 17, 2012 Afternoon all. Ramadan food shopping and school runs, Ngonge, I would feel even older if I gave up the beautiful game
NGONGE Posted July 17, 2012 ^^ Don't give it up, just don't expect your body to react like it used to dee. Football at your age (heh) should only be for pleasure not competition. p.s. Malika, These days all you do is give hints but never the full story. What was the training about?
Malika Posted July 17, 2012 ^Lol. it was on 'radicalisation' - cant go more on it, unless I have to charge you..lol *Hi Juxa & Maaddeey* Norf, I have decided not to go crazy on food shopping - this ramadan is going to be about devotion, I boycott the extensive cooking/eating ..lol
Jacaylbaro Posted July 18, 2012 Morning dadweynow .... Ramadan is around the corner ........... Afur >>>> Taraawiix >>>> Yoga ............. that should be it
N.O.R.F Posted July 18, 2012 ^What times will you be eating? Mise its the usual 6.30pm over there? Ngonge, its all due to fitness. Once fit I can take on all comers Morning all.
Jacaylbaro Posted July 18, 2012 The usual time dee .....
Abu-Salman Posted July 18, 2012 never understood those extra cooking (I'd find just finishing reading the quran and taraawiih as great these days)...being briefed on skype etc about things to bring etc just before the "cooking season". I'm more into rekindling family & friends bonds. Football is ok for excercising, fun etc but never understood the pure competition party. So, Ngonge and other elders are still at the samosa stage or wisely eating porridge with linseed?
N.O.R.F Posted July 18, 2012 ^Sambuuse for a few days just for the taste and nostalgia. Then smaller healthier meals and before you know it a couple of dates and water does the job. Competition is healthy. You don't want your siblings still playing when you've given up. Out of 4 of us only the youngest has 'retired'
