Jacpher Posted October 24, 2010 You can jailbreak 4.1 using different tools available but it's not yet unlockable if you have the latest baseband 5.14.02. That firmware is out of lock until Apple releases 4.2, then hopefully a unlock will come out after that. But if you've a lower baseband, you can jailbreak and unlock it. Check your firmware first. If you wish to put the time and effort to learn, there are tons of videos on youtube that guide you how to do it. Not that difficult but requires patience. DFU Mode, connect your device, open up iTune and follow However, if you are too busy or tried with no success, go over to Craigslist, search someone in your area to do for $10 or $20. Good luck.
