Urban Posted August 24, 2010 When it comes to PCs, I'm like a car driver who doesn't even know where the oil goes. And within a month I'd really like to build a powerful PC that's capable of running high end 3D softwares and visual effects packages. I want a set up that can play for example Photoshop + Maya/3ds Max + any music player + firefox. All at the same time without whining. I was thinking something like this: Quad core 2.6+ GHz Minimum 8GB Ram 1024mb video card This is where the experts come in, I don't know the type of motherboard to buy that's campatibile with a particular graphics card or RAM sticks etcetc.. Urban Posted August 31, 2010 Rudy that PC is a beast, it's very similar to what I want. Thank you for the offer, but I would like to build my own PC from parts that I pick, it's something I've wanted to learn to do for a while. I've watched a few videos on Youtube on how to build a PC from scratch, and it doesn't seem that difficult. Anyways, there's no need for this thread anymore. Muriidi Posted September 30, 2010 .. not a joke : you have the choice between a toch-screen or a touch-screen + mouse click .. which is more interersting and proves that machines can evolve .. it's like the difference between an automatic car and doing your own gear-shifting .. experience the subtle automatic shifts
