Cawaale Posted May 19, 2009 Wolfram|Alpha (also written WolframAlpha or Wolfram Alpha) is an answer-engine developed by Wolfram Research. It is an online service that answers factual queries directly by computing the answer from structured data, instead of providing a list of documents or web pages that might contain the answer.[3] It was announced in March 2009 by British mogul Stephen Wolfram, and was released to the public on May 15, 2009.[1] wikipedia even thought Wolfram is saying that they are not rivaling Google. and that wolfram is a "answer engine" which gives you the answers unlike Google!(Google gives answers too, me thinking ). so What's your take nomads? do you think Wolfram Alpha could beat Google in the long run? I know - it's too early to make predictions. but its never too early for thoughts!! check it yourself
nuune Posted May 21, 2009 Looks nice to me, but as they say, it is a knowledge base!
