Lois Lane Posted December 2, 2003 Nas or Jay? hmmm It depends if were talking about beautifully mastered lyrics then NAS is the one and only....The king But phat beatz with catchy verses go to Jay so basically Nas is much better in a deeper level while Jay can rock the crowd Thats my 2Centz P-s: i still didn't get to hear the black album so Jay might become a bit deeper with his lyrics...( i doubt it thought)
Pharmo Posted December 4, 2003 yo LL said it.....Nas masterminds thiz - my point: Nas has comprehensive, master lyrics. His lyrics makes you think, and he is almost Shakespear of Rap. and/BUT Jay got hightest master of flow points has some good punch lines, he s easy-headbaker basiclly. Nas wins tha battle...B U T + tha only i hate about Nas is...Tha shank he called himself "GODS SON"...man, its deep haram, i mean listening 2 someone like that. Rakim was/is my favourite headz, but after callin himself "RAKIM ALLAH", and in otheer self proclaiming phrase "THE GOD"...i "nearly" trashed his vinyls on ma shelf. anyway, subjct matter; Nas is tha king to be of Rap.
