SomeAlien Posted August 22, 2003 any old school hip hop fans? if so than i think you guys will appreciate the new target commercial featuring the song "im cool like that" by diggable planets. yay for them! even if it is for target. but i have a question for you guys, what do you think of hip hop artists who, for the most part make it a point to make their music for the sake of music rather than commercial success,go out and accually DO commercials. for instance talib kweli recently did an ad for smirnoff and not too long ago he had a radio hit with "get by" .... are you disappointed? or do you think its a matter of getting paid? discuss.
