^^^^^you are confusing two things, underground and lyrics. Having a good flow of lyrics does not make you underground. Jay Z is one of the best lyricist out there now and he is not underground. Nas is a good lyricist and he is not underground. Neing underground is not a skill. Underground is a different movement that doesn't like the way the mainstream has taken hip hop. Underground also means you are not selling alot of records.

Am feelin it.....BUT i was just explaining why i listen to underground...and its because of its mainstain lyrics of rappers that touches me..

(rap wise)

 

BUT being underground litterly means ya didn't make out hugely, right...= commercially

BUT being underground means doin music for tha street...

Jeru tha damaja broke throught but still seen as a undaground rapper, becus of his street music/fever

 

Jay-z aint doin all street beat, just few

and...dispite tha fact he does have some fine lyrics..but they all r commercialy linked.

CHECK= i like jay-z, but he aint better and doesn't have better lyrics then J-ZONE; even though jay-z is world recognised of his lyrics and flow.....Ya fellin'

 

- having good lyrics has some influence of being recognised as an UG rapper...ya flowin wit me?
