Symptoms of Internet addiction

 

 

1) Using the online services everyday without any skipping.

 

2) Loosing track of time after making a connection.(It happens all the time )

 

3) Goes out less and less.

 

4) Spending less and less time on meals at home or at work, and eats in front of the monitor.

 

5) Denying spending too much time on the Net.

 

6) Others complaining of your too much time in front of the monitor.

 

7) Checking on your mailbox too many times a day.

 

8) You think you have got the greatest web site in the world and dying to give people your URL.

 

9) Loggin onto the Net while already busy at work.

 

10) Sneaking online when spouse or family members not at home, with a sense of relief.

 

Unfortunetely i do fit in 1,2,3,5 and 6. I never knew my obsession until i read the above information.

 

I spend most of the time downloading stuff and going to search engines to find useful information but still it's effecting my studies therefore its about time i quit the internet and try to over come my addiction b4 things get out of hand. :rolleyes:

 

I guess this is it canbaro will be vanish to the woods and never to return.

Too be honest Y'all, I'm really not an addict.

 

I only come online around exam time...to procrastinate. Right now, I have an accounting take-home exam sitting beside me, and look what I'm doing!

I fall under 1,2,5,6,8....and that is while my pc at home is broke.....can u imagine me when i fix it insha allah....!!! Everyone i know already stereotypes me as an internet freak...!!! My big cousin who lives in va called the other day and no one picked up the phone....she left me a message yelling at me and tellin' me to get off the internet......!!! 1. my pc aint working....2. i had 2 lines when it was working....!!!
