Haneefah Posted December 18, 2002 Assalamu Alaikum, First of all, let me say that i just joined this website and surprisingly i find it very useful and itellectually stimulating. I'm glad to be part of a place where my fellow countrymen can interact positively! Nyhow, i'm a senior student in biology from Canada and i'm persuing medical school. I think many of you who live in Canada and who are in the science fuculty know how ridiculously hopeless it has become to get admitted nowadays because of the high demand for med schools and the so little supply. So i wanted to ask a little favour from my friends in the south who are either currently in med schools or perhaps graduated from it. How is the process of getting in down there...what are they looking for in particular or how do they veiw foreign students. I know that the financial side is rather unappealing, but it looks like it's the only option i have left. Any help will be highly appreciated...take care guyz!
