Somali Text Abbreviations

Am tired of the rising English text messaging abbreviations - its almost becoming universal; even the non english speakers memorize and uses them! How about we come up with, and promote our own distinctive real Nomad shortcuts in the Somali chats?? Feel free to contribute..

 

Here's few of my own:

 

AM = Abaye/Abowe Magacaa

BW = Barasho Wanagsan

 

QFX = Qandho Fool Xun

 

DDB = Daf Daf Badnida

 

HIB = Ha I Boobsiin

 

MKG = Maxaa Kaa Galay

 

RS = Run Sheeg

 

SM = Shukaansi Maya

 

WID = War I Dhig

WBKD = War Baa Ku Dilay

WDJ = Waalay Dul Joogaa

WBB = Wuxu Been Badanaa

WN = War Nadaa

 

And many more to come...
