Sharif Ahmeds own webportal says the following: 'S Ahmed's government is in name only latest fighting is to repulse Alshabab of taking Makka Al Mukkaramah road (last major road in Sharif Ahmed's hands).'

 

Furthermoe: 'Troops deserting, poorly trained', 'Sharif came to presidency as the former leader of the defeated Islamic Courts'.

 

They further say 'Sharif only controls 'four kilometers inside the city and Shabab bringing hundreds of soldiers from the regions on assault on Makkah Almukkaramah road'.
