General Duke Posted April 23, 2007 The fighting is taking so long due in part to the fact that, 1. The TFG & allies have been very careful not to use too much force in order to safeguard the public as much as possible . This is the reason the death count has not reached thousands, which it would considering the density of the population in the urban areas. 2. The TFG has givin the public enough time to go out of the affected areas to safer grounds, they ahve warned the population at large that a major offensive will take place. The above two reason has meant incremental steps taken, care to minimise casualty, has meant a long campaign in comparison to even the "minute" war which took place in sparsely populated areas such as Moode-Moode & outskirts of Idaale. With all due respect,There is NOTHING to be added on this topic. Its fair on Xanthus's part to ask you what kind of drug you are on. Your idealogical brother, the great Sergent(sakhar)admitted that this war is unwinnable. You should probably ask for the anti-dote he took, for he has come to his senses. General Duke Posted April 23, 2007 ^^^The clashes are already being won, I know some here compare the situation to Iraq, but the Looters Inc are not the Sunni army of Sadam Hussain. District by district is falling, and these groups are loosing allot of ground, Hotel Ramadan, Fagax, Yaqshid , Sanca and most of the areas they were holed up has been already taken. Its incremental measures being taken the result the defeat of the anti-governemnt groups.
