General Duke Posted March 13, 2007 I think many here are just sounding desperate, much like the clan court "insurgency". Yusuf landed in the airport and his arrival was aired by all the radio stations. There is no power in Somalia that could get the old warrior out of Mogadishu now, its too late. Also it was him who requested the parliment to vote on favour of the TFG cabinet & executive to relocate from Baidoa to Mogadishu..

I think you are the one who is desperate for the old man to walk into a villa full of flag waving patriots. Adeer, runtii,as you pasted somewhere else, the President of the TFG[The warlord govt that was catapulted to power by ethiopia] was instead welcomed with rockets. No rose petals & kids waving flags, unfortunatly.
General Duke Posted March 13, 2007 ^^^Incremental steps are being taken saxib, a while back many here used to swear that Yusuf would never set foot in Mogaduishu, then they said he will never return and now you are talking about welcomes. We are witnessing the greatest change in 20 years. Peace is at hand.
Kashafa Posted March 13, 2007 ^^ You know Duke, as delusional as you are, every now and then, somebody does a good job b!tchslapping you back to reality. Originally posted by Socod_badne: quote: Originally posted by General Duke: ^^^Rome was not built in a day.. What a whacky analogy. What Rome are you building might I ask? You had Rome (ICU mogadishu), destroyed it and now you claim to rebuilding it. A better analogy would tearing down the house and frantically trying to rebuild it. This is the tack this foriegn entity has taken. Your whacky analogy says a lot about how detached -- wittingly or unwittingly -- you are from reality. Since it's inception the TFG hasn't brought a single redeeming benefit to the people of Mogadishu. Or for that matter any other region. Not one thing. Their manadate was to reconcile hostile and bitterly divided Somalis, if anything they polarized Somalis courtesy of inviting 20000 ethiopian troops. New fault lines exist today as solely byproduct of TFG's treasonous acts. They haven't pacified a single region. Haven't built a single school. Nor have they fed a single starving child. Kindly tell us what they've done from 2004 till summer of 2006. True to form, you've been unable to respond to a single item SB mentioned, with substance. Your tired approach consists of throwing in the following words: Indocadde, Clan Courts, looted properties, Shabbele hoose, and thinking you've actually made a point. Sad, but only to be expected. Not even Goebbels himself could've propogand'd the Tikrey-TFG hybrid effectively. Your dedication to the TFG could possibly be admired only if it was tempered with fairness. Even that basic element is lacking. Mindless delusional dedication is what it is. And you know what happens to mindless dedication right ? This is where it leads you ----------> Goebbels remained with Hitler in Berlin to the very end, and following the Führer's suicide he served as the Third Reich's final Chancellor-albeit for one day. In his final hours he allowed his wife, Magda Goebbels, to kill their six young children with poison. Shortly after, Goebbels and his wife both committed suicide. Faarax-Brawn Posted March 13, 2007 Originally posted by General Duke: ^^^Incremental steps are being taken saxib, . General, that is quite conjecturable of you, well hardly shocking but, I think you are running out of words to sugarcoat & spin this regime's dirty deeds. Frankly, you need to face the actuality of the situation on the ground. If rockets being fired into the Palace won’t wake you up, then, I believe you are in a heavy slumber. a while back many here used to swear that Yusuf would never set foot in Mogaduishu, then they said he will never return and now you are talking about welcomes *Sigh*! Adeer,President Yussuf was unable to come to Mog on his own.He was incapabable of coming to MOG on his own. He was Afraid to come to MOG on his own...He had to do it with the help of Ethiopia's army & America's Money. We are witnessing the greatest change in 20 years. Peace is at hand. *Sigh again* Duke,You are dreaming that you are witnessing peace now. Let me remind you[lest you forgot]that we have SEEN & WITNESSED peace in MOG just recently! General Duke Posted March 13, 2007 President Yusuf requesting Parliment to relocate cabinet & executive to Mogadishu audio ............... 1. President Yusuf is in Mogadishu's villa Somalia. 2. The "opposition" groups could not prevent him enetering the city nor could they stop, the deputy speaker, the chief of police, the interior minister, the deputy defence minister and others from working inside the capital. 3. The TFG has no real problem other than the weapons in the hands of the public, there is no power in Mogadishu that can stop the TFG. 4. Now people, be prepared for a massive crackdown and kindly no farting when the project starts. No blaming "Xabashi", "Ugandans" or "Puntlanders". Make sure your fighters dont run away.
