History is already recorded both by Somalis and the British, it is found both in Somali, Arabic and English languages all over libraries. The British would let you know who was the first man to challenge their presence, architected and inspired all Somalis to decide their fate. 26 of June, is the legacy of Zayid Mohamed. His dream and that which was realised.

^^^Adeer the Sayyid is important part of our history, but he is just a part of it. You have yet to mention others that have contributed as well such as Igal, Garaad Abdiqani, and other bright political figures and leaders.

The time period between 1900-1920 is the great Zayyid's era.

^I know what you mean, all the men you have mentioned have part in our Somali history, of course they will be and need to be mentioned, but Zayidka was a legend no one can match his poetic inspirational and leadership ability. Beyond any doubt the greatest Somali man of all time.
