Its time they should know about hime, one of the greatest Somali men, his history has to be out in the open and needs to be reminded of as often as possible. Keep posting any info you may find.

SXB, Sayid Mohamed's straggle laid the foundation of the Somali state and he created a platform of resistance and patriotism for others to follow in which finally resulted the librations of our country .

 

And that is why he is considered the father of this nation. What is that you don't like about him if I may ask?

That is not Sayid's problem. personally, I believe the Sayid have been harsh on some tribes and parts of his poems and deeds are not necessarily patriotic viewed against the mentality of today. But, the man has lived in early 20c. For heaven sake, certain things that were acceptable then are not anympore- but don't judge what happened more than half-a-century ago, standing at today. IT IS WRONG!

 

But Who am I talking to? A fake Xaaji who in his 'high' moment like to bash historical figures he, rightly or wrongly, viewes to have stood against his clan. CLAN is of the essence here, not the bigger Somalinimo.

To mention one of things the good sayd did, when the sayd first came to Berbera he stopped by an orphanage camp, by talking to some of the Somali orphans in that camp, he asked what their names were, and the first three claimed their names were David, John and Peter, he asked what their religion was and they had no idea at the time. Point of the story: The so called Somaliland could've been all christians by now if the sayd was never there.
