Jacaylbaro Posted January 22, 2007 Mogadishu 22, Jan.07 ( Sh.M.Network) Ethiopian foreign minister Seyoum Mesfin has officially landed at Mogadishu international airport on Monday. He was received at the airport by top government officials. Mesfin has had a closed door meeting with President Abdullahi Yusuf at the presidential palace in the capital. His arrival was not pre-revealed as the government security forces blocked the main road linking the airport to the palace, Villa Somalia. Last week, the Ethiopian government said it was intending to withdraw its troops from Somalia in two weeks. Meanwhile Uganda and Malawi are the only African countries that have declared they would send their troops to the strife-torn country for peacekeeping mission. Presidential sources indicate that Mesfin presented a written message from the Ethiopian premier Males Zenawi to Somali president Abdualhi Yusuf.
