Perhaps they resurfaced after - unlike their famous counterparts - quietly joined underground resistance when Mogadishu was occupied. Their deep concern for the plight of the Yey's trapped militiamen is because they understand how crucial they're for the safety and security of the people of Mogadishu. Wise guys indeed. FYI, I am more alarmed and disturbed by the use of the term, and I believe some politicians in Mogadishu are behind this new phenomina to make a case and use it later for their political purpose, I doubt there are any Golo-Guurti of the said clan in Mogadishu. Isimada iyo odayaasha reerkan meelaha ay joogaan waa layaqaan. The city of Mogadishu is famous for coming up with clan-based organisations, ala style of Ururka reer Hebel , adeer that's not something we approve and find it appealing in Puntland. Ofcourse we are talking about post-1991, still in that context Mogadishu hosted a large share of the ones where this topic is about. Mainly from Gedo and Jubboyinka, and other Northern businessmen from Northern Somalia. So Mogadishu is open to all Somalis, and no one who is a Somali will be called by us ''diaspora''.
