Land_Soldier Posted September 6, 2010 TFG,s newly printed currency banned in Puntland MOGADISHU (Mareeg.com) – The authorities of Puntland administration have Monday banned the use the newly printed currency for the Transitional Federal Government of Somalia (TFG), information minister says. The information minister of Puntland Abdihakin Ahmed Guled had said that they burnt 10 million Somali Shillings in there on Sunday adding that it might effect to whole administration and people of the region. The minister said that they would take a drastic step to any one seen the money or hiding it in parts of the region warning to the businessmen of Puntland administration not to use the Somali government money. The statement of the minister of information of Puntland administration comes as 10 million Somali shilling was burnt in Puntland yesterday.
