Che -Guevara Posted May 12, 2008 Saddex ka mid ah gaadiid kolonyo ah oo ay wateen ciidamada Ethiopia ayaa lagu gubay deegaanka Leego oo ka tirsan Gobolka Shabeellada Hoose, waxaana la sheegay in ciidamadaas khasaare nafeed oo xooggan kasoo gaartay weerarkaas. Miinooyin iyo baasuukayaal ayaa lala beegsaday gaadiidka kolonyada ah ee ay wateen ciidamada Ethiopia, kuwaasoo kasoo amababxay Degmada Baydhabo kuna soo jeeday dhanka Magaalada Muqdisho. Qaar ka mid ah dadka deegaanka oo marka uu weerarku dhacayay ku dhawaa goobta ayaa xaqiijiyay inay maqleen daryan xoog badan, kaddibna ay arkeen uuro madow oo cirka isku shareertay, waxayna dadku sheegeen inay arkeen saddex gaari oo gubtay. Ciidamadii Ethiopia ee weerarka lala bartilmamesaday ayaa waxay ku jawaben hubka noocyadiisa kala duwan, iyadoo madaafiicda ay rideen laga maqlay deegaano ay ka mid yihiin Buur-hakaba oo ka tirsan Gobolka Bay. Wararka laga helayo deegaanka uu weerarkan ka dhacay ayaa waxay sheegen inay arkeen maydadka saddex askari oo Ethiopian ah, balse la filayo inay khasaarada ciidamada gaartay intaas ka badan tahay maadamaa lala helay madaafiicda gaadiid ay ciidamo ku raranayeen. Ciidamada qaraxyada lala helay ayaa waxay si dhaqso badan isugu fidiyeen howdka ku dhow halka uu weerarku ka dhacay iyagoo qabqabtay dad dhowr oo la sheegay inay u badan yihiin dhallinyaro. Warar laga helay Baydhabo ayaa waxay sheegayaan in gaadiid ka tirsan kuwii lagu weeraray Leego ay dib ugu laabteen Degmada Baydhabo kuwaasoo ay ciidamada saaran ka muuqatay cabsi weyn. Weerarkaan ayaa kusoo beegmay iyadoo maamulka gobolka Sh/hoose ay sheegeen inaysan haysan wax hub iyo gaadiid ah oo ay kaga hortagaan xoogagga weerarada ka geysanaya inta u dhexeysa Shabeellada hoose iyo Gobolka Bay oo kaabiga ku haya. Waa markii labaad oo lagu weeraro ciidamada Ethiopia inta u dhexeysa degmada ********* iyo Buur-hakaba oo ka kala tirsan Sh/hoose iyo Bay, iyadoo qaraxyadii hore ay sheegteen Ururka Al-shababaab, ayna khasaare nafeed iyo mid hantiyeed gaarsiiyeen ciidamada Ethiopia. Sida caadiga ciidamada Ethiopia ayaa wax war ah ka soo saarin howlgalada iyo dagaalada ay kula jiraan kooxaha ka soo horjeeda. Qaraxyo gilgiley magaalada Muqdisho Ugu yaraan laba askari oo Ethiopian ah ayaa ku dhintay halka 6 kale ku dhaawacantey qaraxyo maanta gilgilay caasimadda Somalia ee Muqdisho. Qaraxii ugu horeeyay oo lala bartilmameedsaday ciidamo Ethiopian ah ayaa ka dhacay agagaarka Isgoyska Towfiiq ee degmada Yaqshiid iyadoo qaraxas uu sababay dhimashada askarta Ethiopia iyo kuwa dhaawacmay. Ciidamadan oo lala eegtay miinada meelaha fog-fog lala kontaroolo ayaa waxay xilligas socod ku marayey wadadas, iyagoo quraac u waday askar kale oo ka tirsan koxdooda. Goobjoogayaal ayaa waxay sheegeen inay ciidamada Ethiopia ay ku jawaabeen rasaas aad u badan, ayna goobta oo dhan isku gadaameen, waxaana dadku sheegeen inay qabqabteen dhowr ruux oo ay ku tuhmayaan inay falkaas lagu qarxiyay lug ku leeyihiin. Labo saacadood kaddib ayay ciidamadu waddada fureen, iyagoo sii watay howshooda halka maydadkii iyo dhawacyadii askartaas loo qaaday dhanka Isbartiibada Muqdisho oo fariisin u ah. Waa markii saddexaad muddo saddex toddobaad ku siman oo qaraxyo noocaan oo kale ah lagula beegsado ciidamada Ethiopia wadadaas, waxaana deegaanka Yaaqshiid uu noqday meesha ay halista ugu badan kasoo wajahdo ciidamada Ethiopia. Sidoo kale, Qarax loo adeegsaday miinada meelaha fog-fog laga hago ayaa lala beegsaday ciidamo Somali ah kuwaasoo ay ka dhaawacmeen saddex askari. "Ciidamada waxa lagu qarxiyay miino iyagoo marayay deeganka Radarka ee Degmada Dayniile; waxay fureen rasaas badan, balse cidna waxba ma yeelin" ayuu goobjooge ku sugnaa xaafada uu qaraxu ka dhacay u sheegay warbaahinta. Dhanka kale gaadiid ay wateen ciidamo ka tirsan kuwa DF ayaa lagula beegsaday qarax miino agagaarka dhismaha hay'adda UNDP oo ku dhow garoonka diyaaradaha ee Muqdisho, iyadoo qaraxaas uusan geysan wax khasaare ah. Qaraxyadaan ayaa la rumeysan yahay inay ka dambeeyaan xoogagga ka horjeeda siyaasadda DF iyo joogitaanka ciidamada Ethiopaia, balse ma jirto cid sheegatay weli qaraxyadii maanta dhacay. Kashafa Posted May 12, 2008 ^^ Ok, so riddle me this: This was a successful military operation by any metric: enemy dead and wounded in the tens, destruction of 3 very important armored trucks and other weaponry, and no civilian causalities whatsoever, so as we used to say in high school: What's your problem ? You're no Duke, so it's not the Ethiopian baqti that's bothering you. No civilians got hurt, so you can't use the humanitarian crutch. The Ethiopian enemy was destroyed in the countryside. So, eesh mushkila ? Mase waxaa laga soo horjeeda any notion of armed resistance ? Waxaa ka baqaa hadoo Meles Zenawi heart attack ku dhaco, some of our 'moderates' will say "Ilaahay ha uu naxareesto", because that would be the 'polite and civilized' thing to do. War Soomaliyaaaay hordatha ka kaca !!!
Jacpher Posted May 12, 2008 ^Macalinka you wrote: "No civilian causalities whatsoever." How could you be so sure of that? I got this article below in my feeder before I logged in to SOL. Three civilians killed in Somalia attack 3 hours ago MOGADISHU (AFP) — At least three civilians were killed Monday when Islamist insurgents attacked an Ethiopian military convoy south of Mogadishu, witnesses said. "Heavily armed insurgents ambushed an Ethiopian military convoy that left Afgoye and the attack occurred between Lego and Jameo," local resident Hussein Abdullahi told AFP by telephone. Lego is a small town around 110 kilometres (70 miles) south of the capital. "The Ethiopian forces killed three civilians after the attack and their dead bodies were brought here in Yakbiriweyne," Abdullahi said. "We heard an intense gunbattle that lasted for about 35 minutes just after the Ethiopian military convoy passed through our village," said Madkarin Moalim Nur, another resident. "There were casualties (among the fighters) but we could not confirm a figure except the three civilians that the Ethiopians killed in a nearby village after the attack," he explained. Sheikh Abdirahim Ali Ise, a spokesman for the Islamist insurgents, claimed responsibility for the ambush and said Ethiopian troops were killed. "Our forces ambushed a military convoy of Ethiopian invaders near Lego. We destroyed three of the trucks and killed many of them," he said. No separate confirmation of this claim was available. Thousands of civilians have died in the fighting between Ethiopian-backed Somali government forces and Islamist insurgents over the past year.

Fabregas Posted May 13, 2008 Originally posted by Jimcaale: ^You wish to get an Oscar for the Ethiopian death but not for the civilian lives lost as a result of Shabaab action? Kowsaar waaxid. Jimcaale, you don't have suggestions as how they should resist the Ethiopians, do you? Little do you know that Xabashi troops shoot civilians even when they are not attacked. Therefore, to blame the resistance for the civilians killed in this instance( in revenge) is just illogical and seems like some people want to argue for the sake of arguing or to join the johnny-come-lately " I am for peace train". Are you suggesting that they shouldn't resist Ethiopian troops simply because Ethiopians will attack civilians every time? Or perhaps they should write a letter to the Xabashis troops and demand that they don't target civilians? Occupation troops kill civilians all across the world, that's what they do; they target civilians populations in order to break support for resistance and scare populations. Of course, though, some SOmalis think they have a forumula which will not only resist against the Ethiopians, but also somehow limit civilian casualties to a ration of 0. Or maybe their is a nostalgia for the dead Ethiopians troops, ya ? ps. It's like saying ONLF are to blame for civilian casualties because they attack Xabashi occupiers! Give them an " oscar" too, why don't we!
