Fyr Posted October 24, 2004 Congratulations to Somaliland Police Forces The people of Somaliland are sending their deepest congratulations to the Somaliland Police and Investigators for apprehending the terrorist cowards who committed heinous crimes against foreigners in Somaliland. Thank you for job well done. In the last two years, six innocent foreigners, who sacrificed so much to help the people of Somaliland, were murdered by cold-blooded terrorist in execution style while they were watching television in their at home, traveling, or at work helping the people. According to the BBC reporter Ahmed Said Cige from Hargeisa; the Somaliland police have captured the master mind of the terrorist act at Sheikh Secondary Schools where two British citizens; Richard Eyington, 62, and his wife Enid, 61, have been brutally murdered in execution style while they were watching television in their residence. The report indicated that Somaliland police have received assistance from US forces stationed in Djibouti to arrest this murderer in Mogadisho, that the police investigation is close to be completed, and the police will shortly file charges against him and others. This successful operation by Somaliland police and investigators have followed the previous arrest of 5 terrorist in Dhoqoshay (small town in eastern region of Somaliland) hours after they have killed a Kenyan woman and seriously injured a man who is Jerman citizen while traveling on the road between Berbera and Hargeisa. The police have received crucial support from the residents of the town “Dhoqoshay†to successfully take these men into custody few miles before they crossed the border. The people are proud of their hard-working police forces, their accomplishments, and dedication to protect the people and the country. The men and women in the police force put their lives on the line everyday, and police forces must be given the resources, new equipment, and training that is necessary to do their job; which will help them to be better prepared to provide crowd control services, fight terrorism as well as other criminal investigations. NGONGE Posted October 24, 2004 In other news, the people of Burco city have also sent a huge bouquet of wild flowers and a gigantic card signed by every resident of that great city, to the Somaliland police headquarters. In addition, the Women’s institute of Barbara City has also sent five boxes of newly sawn uniforms to the same destination. The entire population of Hargeesa came out after Friday prayers, headed by his Excellency president Reyaale, to congregate and celebrate outside the aforementioned headquarters. These celebrations were in response to the great effort and dedication of the Somaliland police in finding three-year-old Abdi who got lost in the Hargeesa market while his father was busy haggling with a Qaat seller! NGONGE news takes this opportunity to also add its voice to the millions of people inside Somaliland (and outside) who sang the praises and appreciated the efforts, vigilance, fair-handedness and dedication of the Somaliland Police force; may the Almighty keep them always the shinning jewel in our humble crown. Little Abdi, now safe and sound in his mother’s bosom, has revealed that his ambition and single goal in life now is to join the Somaliland police force as soon as he grows up. He also indicated his desire to grow up fast, have a glass of milk and chase next door’s goat around the neighbourhood! His repentant father stopped him from speaking to us though and instead, took an oath to never haggle with a Qaat seller again. He also hinted that he might quit this awful habit altogether. We acknowledge the part the Somaliland police have played in this amazing turnaround in this family’s fortunes but must thank Almighty Allah for all our good fortunes and providing us with such a great police force. BREAKING NEWS! In recognition of the superiority and diligence of the Somaliland police, The American Federal Bureau of Investigation, Scotland Yard of Britain and the International Interpol have each sent groups of experts to Somaliland in order to learn from and observe our mighty boys in action. The boys in blue (sometimes they wear green and sometimes yellow. In fact, they wear whatever is available at the time. As long as their police hats are on nobody really seem to care what else they wear) have done us proud.

The man in question is supposed to be the alleged 'mastermind' behind the people who were arrested sometime earlier for the killings of foreigners.
