I just want to take a moment and remember the great founding father of Somali. It was May 15, 1943 when Somali Youth League(SYL)was created. I wonder how these young people were differrent than today's Somali youth?

Siman yes .. those are the foundation of somalia but seems lots of new young people dont even know them.... shame to that.... we need to remind them thanx sis. for this ....

Siman, that's very thoughtful of u. They kicked behind in their days...Thanks to Allah, they were brave nomads. SNL and USP our brothers up North were kicking some butt too. FYI, Cali Xasan Maxamed (Verduro) is alive and well. After what had happened (misguided nomads looted his house in Qoryoleey and had beated the shit out of him) he is very sad fella now, one can imagine.

It is sad to see all of them almost gone, especially considering geeridii naxdinta lahayd ee ku timid Daahir Xaaji Cusmaan [Daahir Dhagaweyne].

 

Only Cali Xasan Maxamed [Cali Barduuro] is alive now. I hope he is healthy as well.
