After the deaths of 163 people, Wahbo is now under the control of Pro-Government Islamist.

Dhair aweis has been reported to hve died in the injuries that he sustained in this battle and Turki Hassan is reported to have been killed.

 

The remaining defeated Al-shabaab and Hizbul Islam rebels have now retreated out of the city and have vowed that they will return.

2. They are not necessarily pro-government. Just because they don't intend to take over the "government" doesn't mean they're pro-"government." Infact they despise Mr. Shariif, as 1) he was the front face of Mr. Aways during the days of the ICU and 2) his government just killed a bunch of their ulama in mogadishu in cold blood.
